Thinking about where to spend the beautiful evening with friends and family with a French taste? La Vie Parisienne Cebu is the first French wine library and pastry shop in Cebu. My experience was definitely a unique experience along with my friends. We spent a couple of hours, and it was Saturday – it was crowded as expected. It was okay to be surrounded with a lot of people though, just to socialize. Peak hours are from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

The winery and bakery is located at Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City. It is quite famous in Cebu so if you are from outside, take a taxi or Uber, it will be easy to get to this location.

The price is also high, of course, it’s a French bakery and winery! Wine prices range from the cheapest that I saw was Php350.00 to Php6000.00

Tip: Most of the most affordable wines are displayed outside (first pic below), and those that are exported or should I say classic are at the Wine Library. (2nd pic below)

There are tons of options to choose from. We hardly cannot pick which one we would like to try because every bottle of wine is just too appealing. We watched for our budget, of course, we cannot spend more than a thousand just for wine haha! It may be worth a try in the future though 🙂

If you are planning to have photo shoots inside the Wine Library, usually people have to line up for that so just for a warning. It is flocked by individuals at night, but it is worth it to have at least a decent photo in La Vie Parisienne Cebu Wine Library! 🙂

Bread and French goods are a must try here. What we ordered were a bunch of French pastries and cheese. Oh, I love cheese; specifically, we ordered goat cheese. My friends didn’t like the taste, but I loved it. Haha, I don’t know, maybe I’m just not that picky regarding food. I almost love everything LOL!

There are also cakes and cookies available in La Vie Parisienne. Another menu, just to name a few, they have:

  • Mini Croissant
  • Coffee (hot and cold)
  • Europe Cheese Pizza and other flavors
  • French Macaron
  • Pasta

They do not really have heavy dinner selection because this is more of a bakery and a wine hub than a restaurant. Prices are higher than average as what I said, it is expected but totally worth the vibe, atmosphere, and food selection.

At night, everything is almost lighted purple, and it is a good sight. Socializing with groups of people and friends in your circle. I have just known that if there are unavailable chairs and tables outside (ground floor), there are available on the second floor.

We waited for minutes to get the whole place to ourselves because this was actually flocked by people choosing wines for them to drink. haha. Glad we had the time to squeeze in our shoots!

So that’s all about La Vie Parisienne Cebu. If you are planning to go to another place in Cebu, check Dolce Cafe Cebu and the famous Tops and Temple of Leah.

Click those links, and it will take you to another blog posts I wrote about those places.

I highly recommend these hotels here. If you book from here – you can get a discount at Agoda or another tip I could give is book on Airbnb.

If you have not signed up yet, sign up here and get Php1100 or $20 on your first booking, if you book more than Php2600.00! There are a lot of homes waiting for you to book them and as for my experience, I can also recommend it. Learn from my experience in my first Airbnb Cebu booking here.

Hi Gail! Hope you’ll enjoy your trip here to Cebu. I honestly do not know if there’s one near Marco Polo because I only know of just one branch of La Vie in Cebu. If you do find out, please let me know though :)). Thank you

I never got around to trying this out until now! But it seems so crowded now. The photos I used to see didn’t look too crowded. 🙁

True! I guess it’s been publicized a lot now. More blogs have been out and people want to take their photos inside the iconic Wine Library 🙂
