Opened just this year in July, Food Rehab has been serving the people of Dumaguete city delightful burger meals. This is my first time to try this burger restaurant in Dumaguete. Thanks to my friend who invited me to dinner here for free.
I guess I’m missing out this place for months. I wish I tried this earlier, then I might have just visited this place more than once. Their theme is similar to a food truck business wherein customers have to pay first then get the taste of the food they serve.
LOCATION OF FOOD REHAB
It is a small place located at Escano Beach, Dumaguete City. Their sign is not easily seen by a lot of people passing by the road but when you pass by TIKI bar, observe that there are shops also located inside. This is where Food Rehab is located.

INSIDE FOOD REHAB
Every time I check out new shops and restaurants, I really love to examine their architectural designs. The first thing that popped my mind is how small the space is inside. However, they have tables and chairs outside too so that will attract more customers in.
Food rehab is designed as brown, black, white, and minimal. I love the simplicity of their wall designs and frames… and the lights just make photographs more appealing. Look at the creativity here 🙂
I did not find many people flocking to dine here maybe because of their opening schedule. As of the moment, they serve guests only from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The time frame is just enough for dinner or snacks (if you aren’t satisfied yet). But honestly, the food is hefty. We ordered burgers and hotdogs from the menu which ranges from Php140.00 to Php200.oo plus.
Their burger meal comes with fries, and the size is big and worth the price too so what about the waiting time? Well, since there were not a lot of customers during this period, we waited for like 15-20 minutes for the food to be served. Not bad. I can wait as long as the food is palatable.
It is served like this:
SELECTED ORDERS AT FOOD REHAB
I could not finish my order so my sister gladly ate what I could not finish. HAHA!
Overall, we had a satisfying meal and a great time in Food Rehab. I especially like the location and the food which is the highlight of this review. Cooked burgers and fries – all good! I had to separately eat the half bun since it was just large for me. LOL!
I have to credit some of the photos in this blog post to my sister: Frances Marie Cadiente and my childhood friend: Megan Lozada :))
